Rounding into a very good unit. So glad we didn’t lose Porter yesterday.

I too was worried about Porter, especially as we were watching Jackson have himself a nice game.

If we can avoid injuries, this defense might be something to be excited for (until they make new rules against us).

He went to the blue tent at one point (maybe a shoulder), but I assume it must not be serious or there would be more talk about it.

I don't have any stats to back it up......but after yesterday's game, I really felt like we were never gashed for big plays. Past years, 3rd and long for the other team was almost a guarantee that there was a 20+ yard play coming. Week 1,it seemed like we kept the plays in front of our guys and prevented the big stuff.

Nope, he was doing what he was supposed to- shutting down Drake London. 2 catches for 15 yards. 1 catch for 10 yards was on Kazee. So 1 catch on 2 throws for 5 yards.

Other than the Beanie Bishop Jr gaffe I agree. Hopefully Bishop can settle down and game one was nothing more than the jitters. Zach Frazier stated he was a bit taken aback by his first NFL Game but he settled down.

I like that Drake London had a quiet game Porter Jr did his job.

Exactly, as long as we can put pressure on the QB like we did last week, we will pretty good back there. Should be interesting against the likes of Lamar and Burrows.

I think Porter only missed 2 or 4 snaps in this game, he came back after, so it's not a concern.

I don't think that is what most people were posting. The concern was that the Steelers traded Johnson without acquiring a viable replacement, and that concern still stands after watching the Steelers get absolutely nothing out of the wide receivers not named Pickens in Atlanta.

The trade itself was fine, but Khan failed to take the necessary follow-up step of adequately replacing Johnson.

They were impressive, but Cousins was not back to his normal self and the pressure up front played a huge role in that performance.

Watt was an honorary member of the Atlanta backfield all day. Pressure like that will make any defensive backfield look better. Having said that, I think they will be pretty good.

I always say the 70's Steelers defense would have been saying what the F a lot;)

A lot can happen between now and then. Remember that 5-1 AFCN record last season? Many would say key injuries was the reason for that record.

Actually I'm hoping to face Kenny Pickett in Philly.
