    yep

any move from a HOF QB is (usually) going to be hard.

I didn't even have to look at who gave a Winner on that. I agree with You a lot , but it's like Ben beat You ,and @jeh1856@jeh1856 up one night after a game, and then stole Your daughters. LoL....it has blinded both of You. With this exact same team, OC, and HC....with a worse OL, and No Pickens .....Ben threw more TDs, less ints, and had more wins than all our Qbs combined this year, and He did all that while hardly able to move. LoL
Yes He moved on, and I'm happy He has, but I don't have to piss on the man every other post, and act like He wasn't at least a top 10 Qb almost every year He played, and top 3-5 most of His years.

Ben/Steelers was/were held back by the loser coaching staff around him. Face palmers can’t admit to that.

pickett/Steelers is/are held back by the loser coaching staff around him. Face palmers can’t admit to that either.

the second leg of the rebuild needs to happen for the team to move forward - massive coaching changes need to happen.

For the last dozen years or so the complaining was how we'd beat the good teams but play down to the competition and lose to the bottom feeders. Now we're complaining about losing to the elite teams while only beating the average/bad teams. Does anyone else see the irony in this?

    ummm

this is history revision. We would sometimes beat good teams and LAY AN EGG vs. 1-9 teams. The Tomlin way.......

When you look at all the teams with similar records, when you see the numerous of games decided in the last minute, let alone the number decided with a TD or less you realize there really are just a few teams every year that have SB potential. No we are not even near that, but we are not cellar either.

I don't think one draft or FA season will get us there either, but momentum starts in these guys if they start building as a unit now. Win or lose its part of the process of building. I see in Detroit guys who fight for 60 minutes, some decent but not really (yet) great players, but a fire that really burns within. I want to see that with this team, I just don't. Perhaps I'm missing it, but the inconsistent play is mind boggling.

There is a foundation that can be built upon, by year 3 of Pickett this can be a very good and challenging team..I'm just wondering if the management of this team can put the right strategy and coach's in position to build it.

i never want our team to lose. I want us to <Destroy >every team in our way.Tanking losing on purpose is wrong.Thats why I still think they need to reverse draft order. Superbowl winner 1st then on down. then see who tanks.

No You don't. For every so call shortcomings You pick out for Ben ....You skip on Bradshaw. I Loved them both....unlike some that can't. They feel like they must bash one at all time. It's kind of strange for a Steelers fan really.

Ya, I find it odd how some have hatred against Ben, and how long lasting the hatred is. Two SB wins, and another SB appearance before the rest of the team went to **** should reduce the hate, or at least, end it when he left the team.

I don’t like Canada or tomlin, but the second they leave the org, I’ll stop talking or thinking about them.

Even assuming Ben was the issue… which moron HC let that issue linger?? Do people expect Ben to leave on his own?? Or do people expect the HC to make HC decisions??

‘I don’t like any of the ILBs, but I don’t hate/blame them… it’s the coaching staff that’s at fault. Isn’t that clear to people who makes decisions on a football team?

Your post gave me a good laugh. Not with anything to do about the thread but with how you must have posted a thought, then thought of something else and made another post and another post.

That original post really got you going:)

You two could stop fighting if you do what I'm realizing a lot of Steelers do now days. They separate Ben into young Ben and old Ben.
