    Contract fully guaranteed for 2023-2024.

Edit- Even without Ramsey's contract, Rams are still $5+ million over the cap, and only have 44 players under contract. Dolphins are $11 million under, but only have 43 players under contract. Next four days are going to be interesting.

I could be reading it wrong, but Sportrac has the team being able to get out after the 2023 season with no dead cap hit. Correction on what I had earlier. He will only cost the Dolphins $17 million for 2023. He is still a $19.6 million dead money hit for the Rams, which is probably part of why they are still in such bad shape with the cap.

Nice move for the dolphins, this is a good deal for them. They didn’t give up much and the contract they are taking on is fine. They can restructure the deal and cut Byron Jones who is a really good player that seems to be very injury prone unfortunately for him.

Rams roster and cap sheet is a mess but they got their Super Bowl and this day was always going to come when they’d have to start cutting some of their stars loose. Stafford has a very significant option coming up on the third day of the new league year, if he is going to retire ahead of the 2023 season it’ll be in the next ten days. I’ll bet Aaron Donald is looking at this trade and considering his future also. They have always been competitive but have ran out of road just now I think, they don’t have the cap flexibility or draft capital to make things work for 2023 and will have to patch the roster together

This trade saves Ramsey about $2 million in California state income taxes.
