    Versatility. Teams need that to be successful.The game has changed as many others have stated before. Exploiting the weaknesses of the personnel is what the current NFL's landscape is now.


    Pittsburgh is adapting to that change by adding more speed and agility to the field. Given the fact that finding the best weakness is personnel based nowadays, usually having bigger bodies means you are susceptible to spread based offenses or even outside runs. With speed and agility, that is not an issue.



    Regarding the fear of run based offenses, take what was said about the bigger bodies but apply that to the offensive side and have them move on counters or stretch runs. If those offensive lineman cannot get their hats on another quick enough, that running play is likely to fail.
