Does Rooney have any respect for Ben?

    JackAttack...
I`m not sure how you can know what is on Rooney`s mind, more than the rest of us, as far as getting Bradford...
I thought we were trying to trade up in last years draft to get Pouncey`s brother,
But, I am sure that you are right about Rooney being "embarassed" by the accusations against Ben.
I am guessing he is trying to convince himself(like I am), that if there was PROOF of anything, it would have gone to court, and the charges would not have been dropped.
We ARE still innocent until proven guilty, in this great country...
The sad part is, I can`t help but think, usually, where there`s smoke, there`s fire... and Ben`s image (and, therefore, the Steelers`), has been tarnished, by these accusations, whether they were unfounded or not.
Ben could have avoided all this, by making "better" choices about how to spend his free time, and not "putting himself in a position" to be accused of such things...
Personally, I cant really fault him, for going out and having fun when he could...
Sure, he should understand that everything he does is going to be "under the microscope", and subject to an inordinate amount of public scrutiny, given his postion as a multimillionare football player, but that`s not really fair to a person who just wants to go out and have a little fun, either, is it? After all... No matter what we may think,...
He has not been convicted of ANYTHING... And I have a feeling that if he did what he was accused of... there would be SOME evidence... Yet he was suspended for 4 games at the beginning of the season, nonetheless.
Wonder what that cost him, financially?
Way more than I would make in lots and lots of years, but that still doesn`t make it right...

Look a great work and personal relationship between a OC,qb coach, and qb is a great thing. They all should be on the same page always and be able to go to one another and say what we are doing is not working so let address this and get better. Now,whats not healthy is a new qb coach that has no say so,an OC with NO imagination, stubborn and wont adjust...did I mention a yes man to ben...And now for the last point, ben who wont practice with receivers after main practice, wont watch film unless we are playing the patriots and smells his own s%@t.
Mr.rooney got rid of oline coach instead of arians,we upgraded with oline coach and we will with OC.He got rid of holmes and we are better for it at the wr position.Tomlin still wants a great relationship with his qb and Im pretty sure he had a say so with the releasing of arians. He would be stupid to come out and say he fired bens best friend.
