The Steelers are much less attractive, consistent, and reliable of a team without a pro bowl QB. We've witnessed the struggles when Ben isn't at the helm. Currently we have no dependable plan for our QB after Ben. Ben may retire after this season.

Does Le'Veon leave Pittsburgh when Ben retires?
Could both happen as soon as next offseason?
Does Le'Veon stay if we have a dependable QB plan after Ben?

He will have to leave after this season if he still has his sights set on $15 million a year.

Yeah, but once Ben is gone, how much is the #2 receiver worth?

Honestly, I don't care. I am only focused on a ring this year; I will worry about next year and beyond when this season is over.

Steelers control Bell for this season and next. So if Ben retires after this season, Bell isn't going anywhere unless they say so.

I believe Bells future is tied to money, not who is QB is anyway.

I don't think the QB situation will play that big a factor on Bells future. I believe he is all in it for the money. Plus, bad QB=more carries for him IMO.

We'll just have to wait and see.

In a perfect world we sign him to a multi-year deal next offseason along with Big Ben coming back again.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves, lets get number 7 out of the way this year!

Bell barely wants to play here now with Ben.

I hope Ben comes back next year for a back to back Lombardi's, but if he doesn't and Bell is fine with his money then I want him back regardless.

Even with a game managing QB Bell will still be a great weapon and could maybe carry the team with AB, Bryant a good D and great O-line.

Bell's style will be effective on any team and pretty much any O-line. Dude is a water bug.

But I hate this Diva hold out ****. People that turn their noses up to highest paid money at a given position lose major character points to me. But he's a great player and I can swallow it if his performance remains.

Don't be surprised to see both gone next season...

I'm focused with this season to hopefully get to see a raised Lombardi to add to the 6...

I'd never floated the thought that Bell would leave Pittsburgh in under 6 seasons. Figured he could stay here for 7 plus seasons. But as time passes by, the idea of Bell leaving town gradually strengthens...given his words and actions.

Maybe our years after Ben won't be so bad. Steelers hadn't boasted a strong QB for a long while until Ben found his groove. The team carried itself well during the mid 90s without relying on its QB.

Not looking forward to loosing Ben and Pouncey at the same time
