Ken Whisenhunt aka "The Wiz"? I can only imagine how great our offense would've been with him and the killer B's!

I do. Wiz is one of the best OCs the Steelers ever had. I was rooting for him to get the HC job after Cowher left.

I arrived in 2008 into Steelers fandom so Ken Whiz pre-dates my entry into SteelersNation. That said, rewatching those Super Bowl XL highlights never gets old! Those trick plays were awesome.

Looking forward to what Matt Canada can bring to the table.

Not at all. We had five years of whiz’s offense with Ben and the killer b’s

I miss bragging about being the AFCN champs & watching Steeler playoff football. I think we have the talent to win the division but how good will we have to be?
    14-2?
    12-4?
I'm going with 11-5 wins the division.

Personally think the ravens will take some stopping to win the division. I do think they may struggle against better opponents but equally think they will just have to much offense for a lot of teams.

I was actually a Haley fan, Yep Tequila Todd...Some great offenses but, He used to yell at Ben once in a while...So you know who won that tug of war

No. Ben led the league in passing yards under Randy many forget. Our kicker chit the bed that year. No defense. If you don't think we are gearing up to throw the ball, you are crazy. Our run game will be better too but Ben is here to throw it. People need to let last year go. It was a fluke. New qbs, no FB, no AB, inexperience at wr, injuries, O line play. All these things led to that debacle. We have fixed every one of those things. Maybe no AB but now claypool and ebron. Should make the rest work better. They just can't double juju now.

I am right there with ya, I know many here didn't like him but go back to all our OC's people complain about everything. I also was a Whiz guy but I didn't want him as the HC. I was not a BA fan and IMO feel if he was kept any long Ben would not be here now. Under BA Ben was the most sacked and under Haley he was one of the least.

Agree 100%...Ben and BA were also Buddies...Ben was young and strong and BA dropped him back 7 steps and let him heave it...Always running for his life, shaking people off, getting hammered...Along came Haley, Implemented alot of 3 step drops, get the ball out of your hand quick, spread it around, no huddle...Ben played great, the O played great, minimized TO's but.....

Like I said, Ben didn't like not calling the shots... and that was that

What do you mean Ben didn't like not calling the shots? Did you forget by the end of year one Ben was using the prior years verbiage on the field and then in the first off season they sat down and remade the playbook to what Ben liked. They butted heads the whole time but Ben did buy in to the quick release to save his body. Well sometimes. Still, Ben got his way.
