Dobbs vs Rudolph (If need be)

Most of us have the sense to put a lot more stock in what we see in a regular-season game than what we see in a preseason game.

 

Lets see who had observed MR and Dobbs over the course of their careers with the Steelers:

Mike Tomlin - MR over Dobbs
RF - MR over Dobbs
Rooney - MR over Dobbs
The Entire Steelers Organization - MR over Dobbs
SDOT - Dobbs over MR?
Is this an accurate synopsis of where you are

 

Once again, a regular season game against a team and at a stadium where Ben and the Steelers historically struggle. It's not even like Ben was lightning it up that day. Raiders were winless and still barely doing anything. Game should have been over by halftime and wasn't. But Dobbs getting thrown to the fire in that game decides his career?

This forum seems to agree with me. Look at the poll above. Ben doesn't go look at film of the previous series with MR... I think Ben agrees with us.

 

Steeler brass has Mason as the #2. They thought enough of Dobbs that they traded him for a lower round pick.

They must be seeing something more in Mason that you totally disregard.
