Do u guys think Timmons can replace Worilds at olb

I'd rather keep Timmons where he is. To me, he is one of the bright spots on our defense.

Here's a question for you, has Worilds played himself out of a big contract? Do you think the Steelers can sign him for 4 years or so to a more reasonable rate, say 4-5 milllion per year?

 

I haven't been paying too much attention to Worlids this season. I do know he only has 4.5 sacks this year, but have they been dropping him into coverage a lot? I thought he would have a monster year but he's been pretty quiet.

 

He will still be one of the more highly sought after OLB's this FA period... With the cap going up, I don't think we would have any chance at signing him to a deal in the 4-5mil/yr range. He will still get around 8mil/yr in the open market from somebody else, possibly more.
