It was rumored/ reported Pittsburgh wouldn't trade Dj to a AfC team/ ( kc) .I wonder if we took a lesser deal because of this?

Perhaps some CAP guru can clear up something about Jackson, apparently Carolina restructured his contract at one point moving some cash to the end of the contract. Does that accounting go with the trade? It is what it is, but wondering how that might hit in a future CAP year.

    Yeah...

That was Oregons Pro Day. Still makes me sad that only Pat attended. Given the qualities Arthur Smith looks for in a Center... Jackson Powers Johnson fits the bill. The other is Zach Fraizer but a trade up would be required in Round two.

If that is the case, then trading up in Round two could be easier thanks to the sixth round pick we acquired from Carolina.

You obviously haven't watched Odunze play, he's a top 10 talent in this draft, contested catches are just a part of his game.

The Raiders are cutting Hunter Renfrew. He could be a good fit as a slot receiver.

Just a quick note to thank everyone for the kind wishes.
I'm not an attention whore (lol) I mentioned it as I am obviously off my game a little. Cancer does suck as several have had the displeasure of going through it too... my hats off to each!
He was/is a Hardcore Steeler fan from way back as well - Good old Dad rubbed that stuff in.
During games, when I was on the sidelines, we had this thing - I would point my first three fingers at him which meant the middle finger. (you know, brothers.)
    He did same back.
I think we got brain damaged when Dad would let us have a sip of that good ol Iron City Beer while listening/watching the games.

I'm sorry to hear that, I lost both my parents to cancer so I understand what you are going through. All the best.

A sixth round pick barely has enough draft value to move you up one spot in the second round

We were thin prior to trading dj. Now the team is almost barren

Yeah but got rid of a player who obviously wasn't 100% bought in, and swapped for another position of need that can be knocked down a bit on the list of top priorities leading up to the draft

Only thing that would've made it better is if Horn had been the guy we got...

The only thing that would have made it better imo is if they were actually able to finalize a deal with the chiefs(Snead)

I wouldn’t say dj obviously hadn’t bought in. He’s been stuck playing with a washed Ben, trubisky, and a terrible Pickett. DJ was a damn good wr and three seasons of his career have largely been wasted by **** qb play. I would be frustrated too

Those are weak excuses. There is no excuse for what we saw in that first game against the Bengals and there are reports that he was giving up on plays all season. That can't happen regardless of any issues with the offense.

That one is quite full of himself. Clearly he fancies himself as the grand fortune teller. Also seems to have forgotten the old adage about blind squirrels

You and I may not like it, but he is human. You can not deny the crap we’ve seen for 3 seasons at qb. That definitely has an effect on receivers

DJ wasn't getting double covered. Pickens was. DJ benefited from Pickens being on the other side of the field.
