I’m not doing that. I just disagree.

Sometimes the bad outweighs the good and you have to move on. Seems like that’s what happened. I doubt they wanted to lose the talent.

    True story,
Had a guy I worked with 25+ years ago who was a great worker, but just would mis a day every week and half and always had some lame excuses. Put a lot of pressure on the rest of the workers.
We were at a foreman’s meeting and I told the owner of the company that they needed to get rid of him. He went on to tell me how great of a worker he has and I was wrong for thinking that.
I asked him what does it really matter how good he is if he doesn’t show up for work.
They fired his ass the next day.

We won't change anyone's opinions here. I certainly don't love the WR room right now. Or the total lack of a Center. I really don't want Dan Moore starting. They still need a couple DBs and depth around. I'd love another good DL, too. They don't have enough money or picks to address all of that. Omar is in year 2 of cleaning up the big mess Colbert left. It isn't going to be a flawless roster this year... but that kid completely quit on several plays, one of which was so terrible it got trashed nationally. He couldn't stay and his value was damaged. Bye. So it goes. We got a useful - not great - player. And, yes, Pickens better learn from this. No doubt there.

I don't know why you had it in for DJ. The man had a great work ethic, and spent hours during the offseason improving his game.

After his drops in 2020 he spent hours on the JUGGS machine and his drops went from 13 down to 5 then 7 and last year 2. Last year someone posted videos of DJ practicing his route running drills in the offseason, and you quickly learned why DJ is considered the best in the NFL. The man works out like a maniac in the offseason, and during the season, I don't know why you don't want someone with DJ's work ethic on your team.

I was looking forward to DJ returning to form with the Steelers new offense this year. DJ is only 27 right now, the Steelers will miss his production in 2024. Last year he had a career high of 14.1 YPC

the loss of DJ is bitter sweet for me - i was 50/50, as was stated for quite a while.

    wish him the best.

some 'black and white' only folks here can never see another persons point of view.

but I will miss some of DJ's game, for sure. Never got to top notch, but that can be in part due to an aging Ben and a lousy transition. that - and at times, between the ears, he did not help himself.

I understand why the Steelers did what they did - and am excited about a starting CB that looks like he fits the bill!

On a more serious note, I do wish it had worked out for Diontae. Definitely liked him a lot for the majority of his time here. Just wished he would have handled things differently.

I truly wish him all the best in Carolina!! :herewego:

When DJ was on the field acting like a childish organ grinder monkey people on this board complained about Tomlin not doing anything

They trade DJ and people on this board are complaining because Tomlin did something

I now get what he was doing. Every time he went backwards, he was trying to get to a connecting flight.

Some of the media agree the world is flat

And I know we are better off without him and with a CB

DJ caught 2 balls to Jackson's 1, but Jackson had 39 yards to DJ's 19.

Arthur isn't known for having a legit #2 WR. Go look at falcons last year of receptions. You're see it filled with RB, TE's.
