Division race officially over after today...

Given the lack of skill in prognostication you showed elsewhere today, this does not worry me.

 

It’s over. The Steelers aren’t going to lose enough games the rest of the way with 6 games left to play and the Ravens and Bengals both aren’t going to win enough games the rest of the way to make up a 3 game deficit. It would take a total and complete collapse by the Steelers for that to happen and it won’t.

 

All it would take to not make the playoffs is Ben to go down against Denver and miss significant time. So much can happen in the games remaining that I don't even want to think about more than a week out. We barely beat a team on a losing streak today so anything can happen, good or bad.

 

Bengals schedule : Browns,Raiders,Broncos at home.
Browns, Chargers, Steelers on the road.

Ravens schedule: Raiders,Bucs,Browns at home
Falcons, Chiefs, Chargers on the road

Even if both the Ravens and Bengals would somehow go 4-2 in that stretch to finish out these last 6 games even if the Steelers go 2-4 in that stretch they would still win the division by a 1/2 game at 9-6-1 to the Ravens and Bengals 9-7. Does anybody really see the Steelers losing 4 more games the rest of the season and both the Bengals and Ravens doing 4-2 or better?? I doubt it. I’ll say it again fellas division race is over they aren’t making up 3 games with 6 left to play.
