LOL! I was about 13 years too late for it... I'm like Lloyd Christmas who had to find out later and say "WE'VE LANDED ON THE MOON!!!"

I was a kid at summer camp. It was a rustic camp and TV's weren't part of the program. Plus it was way late. Non the less, for that one night, we stayed up and watched it on TV. A hundred kids watching a 19" black and white tv with rabbit ears.

    Worthless note:

If you still have a TV that picks up static on odd channels, 1% of that static is still radiation from the Big Bang.

Just last Saturday I took a tv to the dump for my auntie that was a 1980 floor model tv and it still WORKED! It was actually the first tv that I ever saw Mario on in 1986. Seriously wish I could have hooked an NES to it one last time. I even remember watching the famous "Wide Right" Super Bowl game on that tv.

It was blacked out in my part of the solar system. But real fans ignored the lunar bandwagon and rooted for Pluto or Neptune anyway.

How about we compromise and I just stop carrying the Towel since it's a sign of bandwagonry and I get to keep my head? Nah. I'd rather lose my head than my Towel. Oh well. The wagon rides on I guess...
