It wasn't fake news though. The Steelers were close to a deal with the Bills to trade Brown until Brown got told about it and threatened to not report. Typically when something like that happens the team trading for the player contacts that players rep and says we have a Brinks truck full of cash for your client when the trade goes through in an effort to get the deal done. As much as AB wanted money he wanted to control the team he played for more. It was very real until Brown said no.

I would have more respect for his "mea culpa" if he made it clear what he actually said. He's trying to cover his ass by keeping it vague. Either Johnson punched Trubisky or he didn't. Either Fillipponi said that Johnson punched Trubisky or he didn't. He is damn right that he owes Johnson an apology. This sounds like a really ****ty version of the telephone game, except for some reason, these idiots are getting paid to do this.
