Thats why I didn't understand the Switzer cut. Of all the WR'S they have Switzer no matter his limitations has in game experience and knows the playbook. Any of these others including Ray Ray have zero real time snaps with the team. Im sure football in shorts showed their stuff but can they be counted on.

He's still out there if we want to bring him back. Sure, we know what we are going to get but why do we want to get it? We can count on him to catch the ball around the line of scrimmage and basically immediately go down. He's just the most vanilla WR I have ever seen, with no ability to make an actual impact play.

We'll see how he does. Troy Edwards had a similar rookie year then POOF he was gone.

It the Davis/Dobbs conversation, yes there are better players out there that could develop and have bigger careers but in this season of uncertainty its the crap you know versus the crap you don't. To me its like Moncrief and that slot guy from the saints whose name escapes me at the moment guys with much more upside but just couldn't click with Ben and were gone. Heck even Burress 's second go round was bad. Idk maybe Ray Ray is better or they shift McFarland to the slot on pass plays. The new normal will be new for sure

No one else has picked him up yet, wouldn’t be surprised if they pick him up for the exact reason you said.

We still have Dion Cain on the PS. Maybe he'll be activated this week? I liked what I saw from him as a deep ball target last year.

I like Cain's size same with Darboh but that is a lot of similar skill sets with few shifty slot guys even though Juju and DJ could be those guys as well. In the end this season is about hunting a championship not developing a program. Get the guys that help with that goal. Maybe that isn't Switzer or Eli maybe it is Cain. It all starts tonight.

Yea, no shifty guy for this game. Thats definitely not Cains game.

Perhaps more 2 TE sets this game than usual?

    Hey Blast.

Like you stated: "This receiver group will be very hard to defend." I agree 100%.

Look at the most likely starting four WRs:
    • JuJu
    • Washington
    • Johnson
    • Claypool
This really should become a problem for opposing defenses. Now, throw in McDonald and Ebron at the TE position. Samuels and Conner from the RB spot and I say.... WOW! Maybe even McFarland? Great "Catchers" all the way around. Too many to cover IMO.

How many points will our defense put on the scoreboard? I'm going with 6.
