How can you not be excited about this guy. What he did as a rookie with the QB’s he had throwing to him.

That he did this to T White as a rookie, I can’t wait to see what he does this season and with Ben throwing to him.

So much for not being able to get off the line :hehehe:

This receiver group will be very hard to defend.

I have all the faith in him. He does need work on ball security, he fumbled a lot for the amount of passes that he caught.

Juju should also work on his too, that's been a problem at the most important times in games too.

I think I was hoping for Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, who did end up starting 7 games as a rookie.

But it's obvious Johnson was the right pick. I know PFF loved him the whole way. I was a little skeptical. But sure looks like he could be special.

Chauncey was my pick as well. I wanted him in Round 2 via trade up. That said, I did not expect the "Minkah Trade" to happen in 2019 either.

    All is forgiven!!

Sure hope it's Ben throwing to him for 16 games plus.

When they drafted Johnson, I initially called it a shameless attempt to recreate AB, but it sure looks like the kid is the real deal, even down to the punt return prowess..... I'm excited for what he can do with competent qb play

I heard he gained like 12 pounds this offseason, I expect him to have a 1,000 yard season.

If he does that, it would be absolutely fantastic. I was hoping for 800 yards and 7 TDs which would have shown growth and improvement from last year.

He had almost 700 yards and 5 TDs with Duck/Mason at QB, he also didn't start all 16 games.

Is it wrong to think he can be a better player than juju?

Gotta factor in Ebron. That mouth wasn't there to feed last year. I think Ebron goes 700-800 yards. With Ben back, JuJu is likely to get alot more looks.

If DJ has less than a 1,000 yards I’d be surprised. Around 8-10 TD’s I predict, too.

If Ebron siphons anything away it will be TD’s.

Claypool will eat into his catches along with Ebron, McDonald, JuJu & Connor if he stays on the field. DJ will be lucky to duplicate his last season.

I love the kid's energy and quickness, if he improved his ball security a little he might be something really special!

    Can't wait!

JuJu got 1400 yards with AB on the team, plus all the other mouths to feed.

Come on Blast, they were feeding AB, JuJu & Bell when he wasn't holding out.

Claypool might be the best wr on the team.
Ben likes a big target if throwing for more than a yard. He also plays favorites. DJ will need to convince the big boy that he is the alpha target.

Terrible job by twhite. Playing inside leverage and johnson went right to his outside shoulder.

Yeah and AB had 168 targets which are now gone. And Conner had 71 targets the year Bell sat out, Vance had 72, Jesse had 39 even Switz had 44.

When are you guys going to start listening to me about DJ :lolol:

He’s going over 1,000 yards easy.

Idk, Ben will probably be running 3 deep post routes at the same time with Claypool, Ebron & Washington gunning for the end zone. DJ will be wide open underneath but classic Ben goes for the td.

Ben is going to be receiving his on passes? Damn, that year off really rejuvenated him!

Well this sucks. He’s been dealing with this all camp. Had a good practice the other day, opened with a 30 yard strike from Ben and also had a TD. Hope this doesn’t linger all season.
