Best Pick is McFarland. If things play out the way I think, he will be Kamara 2.0 for the Steelers. Everyone else, depth and still need a few years to be effective in big time games.

We already have two 6-2 guys that run 4.43 and 4.45 and one that's 6-3 and runs a 4.39. Now a 6-4 4.42 guy. Trade juju and washington. Just kidding. I'd keep all 7. Maybe claypool could carry switzer around on his head and he would be 8-4. This does worry me about Chuck it up ben. :smiley1::cool:

Can't wait for the camp battles. I think they have some crowded groups with some hungry young men. With that said may the best men win and as far as touches go, here's to hoping Cananda has some insight in to how best to utilize the men week to week on O. Situational ball isn't Randy's strong point so I hope Canada gets some wiggle room here to showcase some of his wizardry. Team needs to get away from "we do what we do" and approach every week as a game of chess! Make these Coordinators earn their money and switch things up... Different hats create different opportunities... Utilize em. Okay back to my frothy brew.

I laughed out loud reading this. Comparing Jarvis Jones to Von Miller and saying that Shamarko Thomas is the next Bob Sanders.
Ironically the only bad grades were given to Leveon Bell and Vince Williams the only 2 guys that amounted to anything.

7th seed forever sounds pretty good because that means now that you make the playoffs

Then why did all the teams in the first round pass on Dobbins, if he's a first round talent?

The Ravens 14-2 got punked at home by the Titans, just like Pittsburgh lost to Jacksonville in 2017.

I feel that it is an accurate statement. It was a deep draft and there Steelers didn't have enough high picks to do any damage.

The disappointment this weekend is that in a deep draft they used their top two picks for players that are more projects than impact players. I like Claypool but he is going to need time to develop or is he going to transition to TE? Highsmith is a small school player who will have to adjust to talent level at NFL level. I like that pick far less.

I'm not saying they are going to be busts, but Claypool is the only one with a good shot to contribute as a #4 WR. Other teams, like Ravens, got players with higher potential to contribute fie years.

I think some of the media is probably comparing what the other AFCN teams did in the draft, compared what Pittsburgh did. The Bengals and Browns had high picks, and the Ratbirds had what seemed like a million draft picks .

Well it's easy to draft a lot of good players when you have 12 picks like the Ravens, every year they get a lot of compensatory picks.

MacFarland won't get the touches like Kamara does, he has Snell and Conner in front of him.

McFarland wasn’t used much as a receiver either by all accounts. That’s what separates Kamara from the rest, he is a fantastic receiver out of the backfield. McFarland will need to develop that side of his game if he wants to get on the field.

I couldn't disagree more. Watt is a far more capable FB than Rosie was. The numbers you are speaking of happened in SD,
where they had both Melvin Ingram and Austin Ekeler. Pittsburgh did not bring him in just to Block and play ST. I fully anticipate Watt getting 2 to 3 carries a game, and probably a catch or two out of the backfield.

Interesting that Harbaugh owns Tomlin yet possess a similar playoff record as the now Giants Offensive Coordinator in Jason Garrett since 2016. Both are 64-48 in the Regular Season in that time span. In the playoffs?!

    John Harbaugh: 1-3

    Jason Garrett: 2-3

Again, the power of choice is in play here.

Those are rosie’s stats. Watt had 13 carries for his entire college career and 19 for his professional. He is a full back and special teams player. The only way he picks up 32-48 touches a year is if he recovers that many fumbles.:lolol:

If thats the case then the Steelers just wasted a bunch of money. You don't pay a guy 10 million dollars to play special teams and block occasionally.

Dude your facepalm attitude and permanent doom and gloom are often entertaining. With regard to JK Dobbins, I love the kid, he is special, maybe the Ravens reached a little bit for him but he was worth it.......for the Ravens. Dobbins to the Steelers with the draft weakness we had, and the needs we had, would have been utterly foolish.

If you offered me 7th seed guaranteed forever, I would find another team to root for. Even with Art II lack of football acumen and Tomlin's inability to get the most out of his talent we are still going to have the occasional chance to go deep because we are the Steelers and the Old Man and Chuck Noll will rise up from their graves to make sure of it.

Steelers needed RB more than WR. Steelers could have picked up a Free Agent WR next year, if they can't afford JuJu in 2021.

    Interesting.

Care to explain how J.K. Dobbins is going to take the top off of a defense?! For that matter, care to explain as to how J.K. Dobbins will assist the Offense in the Passing Game. Curious to hear what you have to say on this one.

The same way Le'Veon Bell did from 2013-2017. So you're saying DJ and Washington are busts and can't take the top off defenses.
