besides it's also an NFC loss but I guess it's how poorly we played

the most important game now is the next game and how we respond from this debacle

Is it really worth jeopardizing the rest of the season

I'm not surprised they lost, I predicted them to lose in the predict the score thread. I didn't think they would get blown out like this though. There were too many Steeler fans dismissing the Eagles and counting this as a win.

Of course not, but I also don't think it's all gloom and doom every time a Steeler farts or scratches his nose.

It's one thing to lose a game. It's another thing to get blown up in every category like, blocking, tackling, pass defense, run defense, defensive and offensive schemes, sacks, special teams (except for punting), passing, receiving, aggressiveness, passion, discipline of players for getting suspensions for drug use, it just goes on and on.

A good record in most years, but not this year. Patriots will win at least 13 games... Broncos 12. 11-5 is not going to cut it.

No, but a lot of fans thought they would go 4-0, I voted for 3-1 but I have my doubts about that now..........

I predicted 2-2 after 4 games with losses to the Redskins and Chiefs. I fear I may predict the record right if the Steelers lay another egg on offense Sunday night. I hope I'm wrong.

They were also 2-0 going into Phi in 2008. I thought they were even more badly beaten in that game, although not on the scoreboard.

Anyway, unless everyone has amnesia recall how that season ended?

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how they respond.

I didn't think we'd go undefeated, but I thought we'd keep it tight on the losses. But we've certainly had our stinkers early on throughout the years and have gone on with successful seasons.

The worst part for me was that the rookie QB looked like Ben and Ben looked like the rookie.

having home field advantage helps but it doesn't guarantee anything. Just have to make it to the playoffs healthy and get hot.

Road games in the playoffs is OK when the defense is ranked in the top 5. Otherwise, it's pretty much an uphill, futile endeavor.

Sure, playing on wildcard weekend with a banged up team and having to travel to Denver or New England to play a rested team. That's not been the formula for deep playoff runs. This isn't the 2005 team.

Rookie Ben went 14-0 as a starter.
Maybe this time the talking heads were actually right to compare someone as the "next Big Ben".

Yup, they don't have to sit Clark in denver if they had Home Field Advantage and they likely don't lose to Tim Tebow.

Maybe they don't have to go to Denver last year and come away with a victory. Who knows, but just because you do it one year and then another team does it, doesn't make it the ideal way to do it.

Its not the losing of a very winnable game, but its the way they loss the game. They got dominated in every aspect of the game. Normally, the blame can be placed on a certain person or area ,...but, not this game.

didn't think we would go undefeated
    hoped to
    butt
it would be nice to be like 6-0 or undefeated up to the bye
    or something like that
    i mean it
    would be neat
    i'd feel better
i damn sure do not want to be behind the ravens in the division
    they will only get better
and the football gods looked out for them this year giving them an easy sched to start
    gotta keep pace at least
