That knee is looking pretty good. He should definitely be past the mental side of that injury.

Year removed from his surgery, playing alongside Jack and coached up by Flores. I like it.

2022 Comeback player of the year candidate. I think Bush is going to have a big year, for all the reasons Blast listed above.

Rooting for this man, hope he works his a$$ off and earns himself a new deal. I have a lot of concerns but the ability is there without a doubt.

In every sport you always get these off-season stories about so-and-so being in the best shape of his career or looking good or improving this or that.

They're all feel good stories provided by the player, his agents, or the team and they all have pretty much zero value.

What is the headline here? "Professional Athlete Works Out"? Imagine that.

I'm not rooting against Bush or anything, but a video of him running agility drills with zero context, i.e. how well he did the same drills in previous years, isn't informative

Yes, I prefer videos of our players working hard to improve themselves as opposed to videos like Claypool getting into fights outside a bar.

And it’s not zero context, everyone knows Bush is working his way back from an ACL, he’s moving very good there.

I'm hoping for the best too.
I predict the same thread next year.

I am hoping that works out well. Schematically Jack is a better fit to replace Bush at Mack LB than play alongside him at the Buck LB. They’re both run and chase guys, not inside stack and shed guys. It could be an issue against run heavy teams with offensive linemen who can get to the 2nd level, but the athleticism of Jack and Bush together in base defense should be great vs. teams that rely on speed and passing.

Blast already had a big head. He didnt need my help with that
    . :lolol:

The player that we all saw during Bush's rookie year is still in there. I am convinced that he was going through something non-football related that effected his play. I'm hoping that he is past that now, and having a different perspective from a new coach can sometimes work wonders for a player.

This is a kid with a football Pedigree. I am guessing he has enough support around him to help him get his career turned back around.

I was doing a web search on ACL tears, and came across this article on an alternative treatment.
    https://andscape.com/features/new-acl-surgery-could-cut-rehab-and-recovery-time-in-half

It was from 2016, but it was FDA approved in Dec. 2020, and articles still talk about it as a new treatment.
(The BEAR implant allows the torn ACL to repair itself, as opposed to invasive replacement.)

The NFL provided some of the early funding of the research. I'm wondering if any players have tried that instead of reconstruction.

I’m hopeful that this translates to on field production. It’s better than the crap he was tweeting last off-season.

If Bush plays like he did last season, he could end up like Edmunds did in free agency this year, having to accept a low offer.

For a guy like Bush who looked hesitant last year, it's good to see him moving well.

His last season here unless they give him the 5th year option. I would let him play it out and see improvement.

That's great he is putting in the work just like every other player.

The reality is he needs to work on the mental part of his game in which fared quite poorly last year. I feel had little to to do with the knee.

Idk...Cosmo Claypool looks good shirtless too, He just can't walk and chew gum at the same time...Can run fast in a straight line, and looks great in a smedium shirt...

Bush is the same...Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane

I never questioned his physical skill set. The test will be the mental side of it. If he can get over the fear of re-hurting his knee again then I can see a rebound.

    He's thick like creatine loaded.
Something seems odd, maybe it's the dirt field that gives me an uncomfortable feeling.

I agree....except I believe the knee was involved....just the mental aspect of it.
Sometimes it's hard on certain people the whole mentality of.....awwww Hell...I can actually be seriously hurt.....some don't ever comeback from that 100 percent. Just hope He does.
