Exactly. When I've mentioned this to some, they think it's because I'm afraid of losing to the Browns.
I would just like to get the players out early the next two games. Give them rest, but play them enough there isn't rust. If we have to win, we can't do this.

Why would GB lay down, while still in contention for their division. GB wins vs the Ravens(w17) and Vikings(w18), and Bears loses to the the 49ers(w17) and Lions(w18), gives the division to GB

If they would have made it? Well they didn't make it either time. The Lions had a 14 point lead and a FG would have put them by 17 and buried the 49ers. Instead they fail on 4th down and the Niners drive down and score and all of a sudden instead of a 17 point lead it is only 7. Analytics can't measure the momentum shift and the demoralizing let down of failing on fourth down and coming away with nothing.

I believe he means they make the playoffs anyway. I'm not sure, but I didn't know what You just said. I watch a lot of games, but I don't Keep up with what the NFC has to do to make the playoffs.

Going into this week, The Packers are in the same boat as the Ravens. They need to win out, while the division leader loses out. With who the Bears and Packers have to play, there's a real chance for the Packers to catch the Bears

the difference is the Packers have clinched a spot, while the Ravens would be eliminated

It just clinched playoffs for the Packers, they still can win their division if the Bears lose to the Niners and Lions.

I'm sure the Pack will still play hard regardless. There's still something to play for. We should be able to beat Cleveland either way, but its looking like its very doubtful that Lamar goes on Saturday. Its as good a shot as any for us to be all clinched by Saturday.

Can't believe the Lions turned in such a stinker. The Packers have things to play for, but I doubt they take any risks with injured guys.

The Steelers really are going to need to win Sunday. Damn Metcalf.
