Have come across a few "articles" online about Kaepernick and Cleveland. Are these idiots actually entertaining signing him? I thought the signing of Watson and then the subsequent essentially paying Baker to leave then come beat their sorry behinds was the most brownsy thing ever. Signing Kap would be the cherry on top!

Or, since the NFL only investigated 4 cases...12 games. Add into that Watson's unwillingness to cooperate, insistence on his innocences, lack of contrition, plus the fact that Cleveland exercised the poor judgement to give him the contract that they did under the circumstance....1 season.

 

No freaking way that happens. Even the browns can't be that dumb. The man hasn't played football in like 6 years.

 

Not only is it not different based on circumstances, last time I checked, Big Ben did not lie about commiting the act in it of itself. DeShaun did. Again, Sue Robinson is an independent arbiter and the settings involved were not in a Court Room. Even so, that is more than enough evidence alone to have DeShaun suspended for one year. The other aspects of it all just compound the issue overall from where I stand.

 

Im.not in disagreement, but the league only presented 4 cases. That's the standard, the Judge compared with other suspensions. Can't blame her when the league inconsistencies of applying its punishment over the years. I do think the lying may be subject to added games...at least I hope so.

Watson looked terrible in his Browns debut tonight going 1-5 for 7 yards. He was in for 3 series and didn't record a first down.

 

I watched that game ,and didn't hear it. They must have edited it out of the broadcast.

 

I'm sure there's a joke in here somewhere involving "thick" and "skin" but I'll just leave it alone.

 

But he did make it to 3rd base.
