Damn a depth chart ...I didn't even look at it ..Is AB #1 who is 2nd ? Wheaton ...Where is DHB ? #3 how do they have Cotes listed ? #4 I guess ? So my man Eli is buried on the depth chart ? I guess he won't get a snap all year ? Oh well there is always next year ..

Oh and I got some Beach Front property in the Sierra , if you believe that...

Trust me I know what a slot receiver is. Do you know what a starting receiver is?

Exactly i hope Haley calls the Bone the 1st. play and then we can debate why AB got demoted and is not starting..

I'm in the camp that says they'll all see about equal time on the field, besides AB of course.

If our Playmaker wasn't gone for the season, that would be different of course.

@HugeSnack@HugeSnack has been noticeably quiet since the signing... I hope they're not already off somewhere doing something...

Imagine the possibilities as starters if we ran the Wishbone!

Just for symantics, what defines a starter? First snap of the game? If you play 10 snaps and the guy behind in the depth chart plays 70 what does the word starter mean?

Just some random babble about the previous babble.

Well on the ILB spot, you have Dirty Red showing as Shazier's back-up. He probably won't be rotated in like that, but it makes sense.

If you don't have the freak athlete in there...might as well have a guy that is football smart enough to be in the correct positions.

Even without Bryant, WR is the least of the Steelers worries going into the season.

Not having Bud Dupree and Cam Heyward for a few games along with our questionable secondary is much more worrisome. Also... Jesse James is going to have to fill some big shoes.

Just saw an article on Steeler Depot where Ben has indicated that Rogers will have a significant role. The article also lists Rogers as the "starting" slot receiver.

So you consider the starter as the guy who gets the 1st. snap ?? With all guys healthy the guy who plays the most is the starter ..Doesn't really matter though as Eli will get the 1st. snap in the slot and he will play the most ...

That is a horrible way to determine the starter ..A lot of times a Coach plans to let a Vet take a snap or 2 to start a game ,but have no real intentions of them playing the most at that position..The guy the Coach has planned to play the most and plays the most is the true starter ..

We may bring DHB out 16 games on the first play ahead of Wheaton if we intend to run...Does that mean DHB is the #2 WR ? Of course not ..Don't be absurd ..Just take your lumps Eli is the starter in the slot and you can try to spin it anyway you want to , but those are the facts..

Starter used to be the BOMB back in the day! I had a SWEET Orlando Magic jacket to go with Penny Hardaway shoes and jersey. Those shoes were $150 then and still are on ebay. Why my dad was dumb enough to pay that is anybody's guess. Lol!

How many slot receivers do they have? If Rogers is the only one stands to reason he is first with the multi-facet receivers being listed afterwards.
