Statistically I believe they are the #1 Defense this year. Guess we will find out in a few days. I think the Ravens had one or two defensive TDs (similar to us week 2)

The ravens defense had a pick 6 and they also give their offense a short field on a another TD....The Browns offense have so many turnovers this year. This is not the 1985 bears defense but still a top 5 defense

6th overall but they would be much better if the browns offense were not the teams with the most turnovers in the league right now with 19

They lead the league in yards allowed and are top 5 in points against and top 10 in turnovers. They have a good defense. Part of that is their offense leads the league in time of possession, so there are less chances for them to give up yards/points... but they objectively have performed pretty well all things considered. They have 3 games where they have allowed 3 points or less, but also 4 games with 24 points allowed or more. Bit of feast or famine, but they have had a good unit so far.

If we can get them off the field and not let them dominate the time of possession, we will have a good chance at winning. With DTR starting for them this is a game we HAVE to win.

The reason the Browns lead the league in time of possession is because their defense leaves the field very quickly (their defense is on the field for only 2 minutes per drive on defense, which is the best in the league) Their offense is only 20th in time of possession on offense at 2:39 per drive. They are also second in point per drive on defense...You will see it below the stats and rankings at the right

Like I said earlier, the reason they are only 6th in PPG in defense is because their offense is a turnover machine....If one thing the Steelers do well on defense is creating turnovers and they must continue against the browns which was the big reason for our win against them in week 2

Good stats, thanks for linking them. Interesting to see that the Browns both lead the league in defensive TOP, but also are the worst in the NFL with offensive giveaways. Those stats don't usually go hand in hand with an offense that nearly leads the league in points per drive.

Yes, I feel like creating turnovers is an absolute must for us. They have a young, turnover prone QB taking the field. We HAVE to capitalize on that.

They are number 6 in points per game and that is the only stat that counts

And number 6 is very good
