I don't think our D-line is an issue. Sure we need more depth but I think our starters are solid. Our issues against the run IMO have been created by 2 things... schematics and poor safety play.

We completely disrespected the Raven's running game and the Raven's took advantage. Sure I'll agree we didn't play our best game defensively with plenty of missed tackles. BUT we were caught blitzing on several big runs for them. Our defense was overly aggressive IMO. If we paid more attention to shutting down the Raven's run I'm sure the results would have been much better.

The other issue that is obvious is our Safety's. They don't support the run defense like the safety's we've had in the past. Our secondary has issues and our coaching staff is afraid of a repeat of the Patriots game. So we are trying to support the pass defense as much as we can. Which leaves our run defense vulnerable. I also think our OLB's are pretty average. Not having Shazier also hurts.
