DEFENSE?????

ok, what in the world? If our defense can play like they did in the second half in press coverage then why haven't we done that all year? We moved our corners up and bumped the WRs and all of a sudden we are intercepting balls and knocking balls down. Why oh why have we not done that all year?????

Got to have the players to do this, and you better be getting a rush on the QB.
Our secondary is a few secondary players away from being really good.

 

We didn't change anything schematically from the first half to the second. The only real difference was we stopped shooting ourselves in the foot. The Sanders 60 yard touchdown is a perfect example. We obviously had a blitz called, but somehow they managed to get Allen, Blake, and Gay up there and nobody dropping into coverage.

 

They played so much better with boykins ...starting Blake was a mistake...lol

 

about 5 years ago or so they played tight man to man against New England and won. then you never see it again. you wonder if they watch film and if they do what are they thinking

 

You never witnessed it again? I wonder what games you watched??

 

They've done it at different times during the season. Sometimes the players executed well enough and sometimes they didn't.

I wonder why fans believe success is it's as simple as it seems? There's plenty of factors to take into consideration. It's never as simple as doing this or doing that. Ultimately, it boils down to the players ability to execute.

there was also some variables you have to mix in there. 1. was Brock hurt? If so, did that have an impact? 2. Broncos were shutout the prior 2 games, did this trend continue, or did our defense actually do something.

 

do you want a list of all the games? it worked 4 years ago against new england and have not done it since playing them. give brady all those 10 yards every play and it's going to be another loss.
