DD will put in the work. i'm sure he's down a bit as are all of us, but we can rebuild him. he will come out next year bigger, stronger and ready to go. it's like we get the top guard in the draft all over again but better.

According to this article, it could be 3 to 5 months before DD is ready to play:

That means theoretically he could be ready for our Super Bowl game re-match versus the packers on February 3, 2013.

The Steelers have decided not to place RG David DeCastro (knee) on season-ending injured reserve.
It's reminiscent of the organization's decision to carry DE Aaron Smith (triceps) on the active roster in 2010, hoping for a contribution by playoff time. With a dislocated kneecap, torn MCL, and partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee, DeCastro is expected to be sidelined through at least Thanksgiving. The team will have to rely on last year's starter, Ramon Foster. Aug 27 - 3:30 PM

I love this. It's an optimistic attitude and it means they don't think his injury is bad enough to keep him out for too long. And they can always put him on IR at any point in case they are proven wrong or change their minds. But it would suck if we were trying to make a playoff run, or were in the playoffs, and Colon and Foster are both hurt and DeCastro is on the sidelines doing cartwheels and riding a unicycle, but is on IR.

I agree with you HugeSnack..... and that was a funny image of DeCastro doing cartwheels and riding a unicycle on the sideline. Maybe Deuce Staley could be beside him in sweats. :roflmao:

Who is this Deuce Staley of whom you speak? Are you talking about the famous DUCE STANLEY of mid-2000s fame?

I think he is talking of the rather INFAMOUS DUCE STALEY as opposed to your famous Duce Stanley. ;)

Are you sure your not talking about Paul Stanley? I know he is good with a guitar but I'm not sure how good he is at carrying the rock!
