How about this, does it make sense? They got two nice O-Linemen in the draft and they are just not making sense. Now Starks is off the PUP and everyone thinks he is the answer at left tackle. I guess Mike Adams won't get another chance to be the starter because the Steelers are rushing Starks back to be the starter. They say in the article that Decastro is starting but not been named the starter only because Foster was move to LG because of Colon's injury.

DeCastro will be the starter...the end. The only thing that has hindered Adams shot at starting from day 1 is his injury. He could still get the spot...but right now he isn't. Hopefully he will maybe only miss 1 game or 2 at the most and get to play in the last one and hopefully earn the job. And if you think they Steelers are rushing Starks back and that he's not ready you have to be crazy...the Steelers are not a team to put a player at risk like that. If the Dr's said he's good to go...then he's good to go. And I'm not sure about the EVERYONE thinking Starks is the answer at LT...while he COULD start the season there...doesnt mean he'll end it there. I hate the media/etc sometimes for just stirring the pot and crap...gawd its annoying.

The smart thing to do would be for Starks to start the season and ease Adams into it. Hopefully, he's ready by the 5th or 6th game. Either way if Starks is fully ready, he should start. I would even consider him against the Ravens since he does his best work in those games.

No big deal here. They just want to keep the young guys hungry which I think is a good move. In Pittsburgh, you've got to earn your way into the starting lineup whether you're a highly regarded first round pick or a free agent pickup. If Mike Adams proves that he can handle the job at LT he'll be there for the opener. Same with DeCastro. If they can't, I guess we'll get to see more of Starks and Foster. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on the former.

I would be surprised if DeCastro ever doesn't start for us. You could say he was given this one due to injury, like the last one, but I'm not so sure. He might have taken it anyway. I think he was gonna start week 3 regardless, and never look back.
