I was about to post the same thing about our DBs. So long as the safeties and d-line step up to help them out, they’ll do for today.

Defensive injuries against a good offense in Kansas City is tough.

Haden could've easily injured himself playing CB also, he's injury prone he wasn't going to play all 16 games.

I'd have to go back and check if he was doing it at 30 years old, plus Ike was a ironman and was hardly ever hurt....Haden is injury prone. So you are ok with losing our starting CB on STs when we kept and have plenty of other capable players?

If he got hurt playing CB then so be it. No reason to risk him on STs. You can go back in history and pick out a circumstance that was ok back then and not so ok now.

Duh. Can get hurt playing any where but lets insert an injury prone player into playing a dangerous position like gunner. :goofy:

There's only so many guys who are on the team that can't play special teams.

Obviously you're from the coaches can do no wrong school....they were on point yesterday too huh? Any play design that leaves Watt on Watkins tells you all you need to know about how smart they are. This coaching staff is underachieving...Fact.

Agreed. Part of what we saw Sunday is that Haden may be the most difficult starter to replace on that defense. He is a legit NFL starter. Burns is a below-average No. 2 at best.

Pretty hard to execute a plan that has already failed before hitting the field
