Owner is most definitely the one that needs to be fired for spending all that money on Puff Diddy Jr

Considering the current context with this offensive scheme, approach, play caller, HC, QB situation, 3 starting O-line (and top rated back-up) all out (three for the season - do you think that even Aiyuk or Adams would move the needle at all?

What extra DIVA attitude with a new WR 1 or 2 when they enter and possibly take targets from him?

Right, if the Steelers really wanted Adams he was there for the taking for a 2nd round pick. Doesn't look like they'll be able to land a good WR2 by the trade deadline now, big fail by Kahn.

Why would you want to pay a 2nd for Adams? And pay his contract? They may not even have kept him after this season.

Because he might have been worth it considering Adams is still a top 5-6 WR, and the Steelers are in desperate need of a WR.

He'd have another head coaching job in a heartbeat. Jacksonville, Philly, or Dallas would be tripping over themselves trying get him.

I mean I get what you are saying, but that's a lot of coin and draft capital for a WR that might be a 1 year rental. Also not exactly a young buck anymore.

Unreal thinking by some. Pay $30 mil or more for retreads that are in their 30s. Draft a wr like we are accustomed to.. stop the madness.

Well, that may or may not solve their WR problem in the future, but what about this season? Isn't that the main order of business?

It would be if the Steelers were a legitimate contender for a Superbowl. Being in the same conference as the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens and Texans means maybe getting a wild card spot and then bounced out of the first round.

Well, I think if they had paid the price for Adams, that would've at least given them a better chance of being SB contenders this year. With the WR room they have now, they have no chance at all.

Patience… one wr is not going to save our season… why spend all that money and give up draft picks..patience is a virtue

That's loser talk any of those teams could have a bad day in the playoffs and lose.

They drafted Roman Wilson and he has zero catches so far.

No chance with Adams or without Adams of being SB contenders.

I look at the team realistically, not with rose colored glasses. The Steelers are not a Superbowl contending team. What do you mean by "loser talk"? I'm just someone who watches the game at home no matter what the Steelers do I don't win or lose. It doesn't affect my life in the least.

Its loser talk when you say they can't beat those other teams in the playoffs, upsets do happen sometimes.

We have to get to the playoffs first and if we don't win both of these New York games coming up then making the playoffs will be very difficult.

This Jets game has me worried I think they lose to a desperate team, but I see them beating the Giants to get to 5-3 before the bye week they would still be in pretty good shape IMO. Then in the second half of the season they could go 5-4 to get to 10-7.
