I had mentioned his contract value in an earlier thread. He would be an 11 game rental here.

If he helps you win a playoff game, then maybe it would be worth it.

I agree but where is the Coaching ? We have a good pass catching RB room injuries have hurt that room , but when healthy why no multiple RB sets with runs and PA ..
We have some good TES why not many multiple TE sets to free Pickens up on backside ..If a Team insist on spending 2 defenders on him then you overload the other side...I would Flex TE'S to short side flex a RB into that trip set..Force Teams to pay for the double Team..

My point is we have some pass catchers and some guys who are tough to get down in space .. Why can't our Pro Coaches not put packages together that get these guys on the field more often in creative ways..

No thanks those injuries have taken their toll on Williams.

Not disagreeing with you. Just saying the compensation and his contract does not warrant the move. I don't think it's enough this season. IMO

Kinda torn on Aiyuk. Not really looking that elite this year at 30mil a pop. Could be wrong though.

Adam's wasn't happy in the end at Green Bay, he wasn't happy with the Raiders. Glad we didn't spend over 30 million, and watch him catch 3 passes a game.

I just think our offense is going to go a different direction. 7 million dollars is particularly rich for what Najee brings to the table, and we should be able to make a lateral move at half that price if we wanted to go the FA route. It shouldn't be particularly hard to get an equal or greater player than Harris.

I can agree with the sentiment at DL, as our DE's are both over 30. CB is not as big of a need if Sutton is the answer at slot.

I would rather have Mike Williams though as our #2 WR than Van Jefferson.

If the Steelers had offered a non-conditional second-round pick, that would have gotten it done. There is no indication that the Raiders were going to let Adams cost them value by dictating where he wanted to go.

The evidence does not back up that claim. Aiyuk was open to becoming a Steeler. We have no idea if they even made an offer for Adams.

This game now has Steelers secondary getting torched written all over it imho. If Rodgers doesn't have a lot of time he'll quick hit them to death. With two good wide outs the middle of the field will be a sieve. Just one man's opinion.Too bad the trade couldn't have waited another week.

They also have a very good #3 WR in Allen Lazard plus Bryce Hall in the backfield. Rodgers sure has the weapons around him now. We'll see how much he has left in the tank.

There is not guaranteed money after this year, so the Jets traded a 3rd (possible 2nd) for a 2/3 rd year rental. They pick up the rest of this years salary, the raiders have a dead CAP hit of nearly 15 million for the 25 and 26 season. the big hit for the Jets will be if they pick up the rest of the contract, near 35 million a year for 2 years. We need a WR, but that is a big price in draft capitol for a 10 week rental.

That's the key. They very badly need Highsmith back for this game. I doubt we are going to see much blitzing against the Jets. They have so many weapons that they make man-to-man coverage difficult. That was the case even without Adams.

No, $7 million is not rich for a top-10 back. When Harris had to play hurt because Warren and Patterson were out, we saw the results in that stinker against the Colts.

Okay, maybe the Browns wouldn't trade in their division, but it sucks watching other teams get these stud receivers at bargain prices while the Steelers sit on their hands.

As someone mentioned, Pittsburgh is not a WR (Adams) away from a Super Bowl.
I think Adams and Cooper are a little rich for us.

I think there are next tier WR's (on teams that are not winning) that would be better than any Steeler not named Pickens.
But I think Omar is over at the yacht club worried more about his golf handicap.

Good. I hope it implodes for both of them. I can’t stand Rodgers. Don’t like Adams much either. I hate seeing players being rewarded for bad behavior and getting their way.

I think Mike Williams is washed... he isn't the same since the injuries. I'd stay far away from Mike Williams. I'd rather get his old teammate Keenan Allen.

I don't really think there are great options out there anymore. I think we are just riding with who we got.

Williams is definitely not the same Mike Williams.
But he is a 6'4" 220 LB WR with some speed.
I dunno... I kind of agree with him being washed up. 10 Receptions thus far.
