Mildly surprised about Finney and Roche. And Derek Watt? To keep him around for his cap hit for ST's seems like a waste.

I think the plan to get Derek more involved in the offense this season, that's what the media said during training camp.

    I’d keep Mondeaux over UG3

That was the other thought. Maybe MC has some wrinkles in the playbook for him. I hope he's up to it.

I think Cams 8 tds, and 10 ints last year could have something 2 do with it, or the int he threw into double coverage while a Wrs screamed down the sideline uncovered waving his arms during the preseason ...might have something 2 do with it. Add not being vaccinated. All You need.
Bye bye Cam and Your one miracle year.:crybye:

I had Moore-Dotson-Green as the starting left side since the draft ended. Wasn't sure what the right side would look like with random vets being added and questions about Banner's health. It may take some time but I think that could be a good trio.

Okay Cap guys, if TJ is getting a 5/150 extension, staying at 10 this year, what kinda money do we have left? Do we think anyone else might get a contract this week? Could be some nice money left to go get a CB or OL.

He still offered more upside as a lead blocker than Edmunds as a position switch. If they were more cash strapped I think he'd have been a cut.

I am thinking it would be a bad time to cut Derek Watt with the contract negotiation and all.

I'm just not getting the warm fuzzy's with this roster. An injury here and there and we are gonna start stacking losses. Hopefully they all prove me wrong.

Our two centers have one year of NFL experience combined. We don't have a 3rd center. Many a season we have gotten to our 3rd center. We will have to add one. at least the PS.

DW is a baller. They need to actually get him now that he’s healthy... INVOLVED! We’ll see how it plays out, but we’ve all wanted more from the FB spot and we’ve had some highly underused dandies for a lot cheaper. He has a purpose just seems the staff can’t finger it out

He was relatively healthy last year but largely ignored. I can't lay full blame on Fitchner for that. Some blame is squarely on MT. We shall see if that changes this year. Derek needs to see plenty of action during the Bills game or it will be another year of a wasted roster spot.

i agree... we’ve had plenty of stud FB’s over the years (none at his price but ya know price keeps changing) none utilized.... all hepped up coming out of camp. Dude balled in SD. Was injured from the gates here: I think he can do some damage if actually utilized. This season is another litmus test of “are they trying something different” or more of the status quo where folks aren’t being played or put into certain situations because “meh... the standard”. We shall see.

He has never really produced much, though he had a reputation as a good blocker when he was with the Chargers. I'll believe that he will be a significant part of the offense when I see it. They certainly never gave him the chance in 2020.

albeit high priced either way you dice it, his SD tape ain’t shabby. He’s a baller but like others before him were improperly utilized. We’ll witness the what’s watt again so stay tuned is all I can say. I think the dude could help... coaching seems to get in the way of all of the maybes hahahahaha

About where I thought it would be. Thin in the secondary, but overall pretty good everywhere else. We're good at WR and DL, solid at RB, ILB, OLB, and OL is decent.

I would too in terms of who is the better player. Were just super deep at DL and if Allen is hurt, we have to keep UG3 until he is back. But yes, if Allen doesn't need IR/Designated to Return, then I would cut UG3 before Mondeaux.
