I'm with you about Jake. I totally trust him through 5 but I wouldn't go a single inning more. I'm not sure if he has lost his mojo or he just got pitched too much and is wearing out. He's in phenomenal shape but he just doesn't have the control he had during that dominant stretch. I also can't take a game 7. The thing that worries me the most is that we're the worst team in MLB against the curveball and we are facing the two curveball pitchers that have beaten us in this series if it goes 7. You are SO lucky to not have to listen to Joe Buck! LOL! I would almost put Zobrist in right and Contreras in left because good grief Jason Heyward is TERRRRRRIBLE at the plate!

:beg: My understanding is that the Man (like the Dalai Lama) is more into golf which would mean that our very own Dwarf Toss could be his personal caddy (or at least assistant grounds keeper). Now if you'll all join me in a chorus of "......let my Cameron go". :beg:

So, BFT. When the Cubs win tonight, are you going to go to Chicago or just set fire to cars in your own town?

5 run lead in the ninth and all the fans had such fear on their faces, lol, such a scarred fan base, I wasn't sweating at all, new they'd win.

Going to be a heck of a WS.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN!!! I CRIED! I DON'T CARE TO ADMIT IT! GREAT GREAT GREAT FEELING! So many people in my family from Chicago died wanting to see this happen. My papaw died a few years ago and would have loved this. My uncle died a few years ago and would have loved this too. What a great feeling! I've seen our Steelers win 2 Super Bowls but witnessing this moment might even trump those in my heart. I can not believe how good I feel right now! PLEEEEEEEEASE get us 4 more! Root, root, root, for the CUUUUUUBBBIES! IF THEY DON'T WIN IT'S A SHAME!!!

I think as a tribute to the Cubs finally making it this far - they should release the set of videos or at least CD's of the Cubs games when celeb comedians filled in for Holy Cow Harry when he was out sick - I've heard they are an absolute riot with Bill Murray, Billy Crystal, Dan Ackroyd et al doing the play by play. Not sure if Belushi was still around for that.

I've got no skin in the WS and I'm not a big baseball fan, so who wins doesn't matter to me. I realize the Cubs winning is important to you so good luck. Hope they do it for you.

Well the cesspool of Cleveland and their trailer trash fans are having a ball tonight watching their "ace" throw "strikes". Yeah. Right.

Alright, @blountforcetrauma@blountforcetrauma... It pains me to say this because I'm such a Pittsburgh homer, but I never want to see a Cleveland team win a darn thing, so I'm cheering on the *CoughCubsCough*.

Gaaawd! I hate myself for this, but I love the game too much not to get involved in the World Series. :lolol:

    Good luck! :)

I know you're over a barrel. LOL! Really though if any Steeler fan wants to see anything prosper in Cleveland it might be time to turn their fan card in. Also it was GREAT to see Lester get a guy out on a ball since Kluber set a record for striking people out with balls tonight. LOL!

They interviewed a 120 year old grandma on the NBC Nightly News tonight who is a Cubs fan. She said she wants to see her team win the Series before she dies.

Geesh... One would have to have an awfully cold heart not to feel for her. :lolol:

Stressful inning here. Bases loaded and two outs now. C'mon, Cubs!

    Welp... That wasn't good. :(

Excellent job by the Cubs tonight. LOL!!! Oh well. At least I can say that I watched the Cubs play in a World Series. When the K zone is all over the place it's just impossible to do anything off that. Congrats to America's largest trailer park.
