The Deon Sanders approach to a rebuild. Tell all your current players to transfer out immediately because they are all going to be replaced.

I could be wrong, and He's not what He was, but I think most of Jack's problems are named Bush.

Trenches both offense and defense 1st and 2nd unless they think a stud corner is there. I could see the 3rd round for an ILBer. Or an OLBer. After Watt and Highsmith their is dust. They need a guy that can come in and play a role not dangle a starting promise that can play above the line if a FA.

Offer Sutton a deal although he will test FA. Grab another in corner in FA.

trouble is tying up so much money on the defensive line. cam cost a ton. ogunjobi is not cheap. leal. then add a 1st rounder. that's a ton of money tied up there. not to sure they go o-line that early since they are playing better. i don't think they replace moore just yet. possibly a guard at some point but again, they may yet see where they are with who is here. (wouldn't surprise me). jack should stay. robinson should stay. bush and allen goodbye. crowder i would give an offer too. then maybe draft one at some point but they haven't had real good success with later round LB'ers through the years. possibly bring spillane back. (wouldn't surprise me either).

Yeah, seems weird he couldn't pick up Wink' defense and was moved to the bench

As recently as October, Tae Crowder was so valuable to what was then a team with one of the best records in the NFL that he never left the field on defense for three New York Giants early-season games.

As recently as Halloween, Crowder was still a starter for the Giants, who started 6-1 and remain in playoff position in the NFC.

I’m not the biggest PFF fan for sure, but I’ve found that they haven’t been completely off the wall in their ratings. Crowder has rated under 30 pretty much every season. It’s not just a single season issue. A PFF score of <40 = non-NFL caliber player. I haven’t really watched the guy play, but if he’s even in the ballpark of that caliber player he won’t make it.

Though it was the pros, just watched a video where Chuck Noll basically said the same thing his first year here. Not a direct quote but essentially most of you suck and won't be here long, lol.

Chuck Noll basically said the same thing day one
He told the team it wasn’t because they didn’t work hard enough but rather they just didn’t have enough talent
I think he eventually kept 3 players
    He did ok

So we use more two DL which makes the ILB have to shed OL one on one. And at the same time we have tweeners Allen or smaller LB like Bust (Bush). The scheme doesn't seam to fit the personnel.

I have no idea just like most on here as to what happens in the war room during the draft, but Colbert used to be more of a best player available guy, but in the past number of years we have all seen way too many reaches for these tweeners that are not very good at either position. I can guess and assume it is Tomlin getting more involved but can't say for sure.

If Crowder works for us than great, from the small sample I have seen he appears to attack the ball carrier and not just wait for the play to come to him. We need more disruptors not passive types who tackle after the RB has gained 7 yds.

Different time..but just saw a vid where Andy Russel stated the Steel Curtain line was so good he, Ham, and Lambert could basically just play the pass. I know they did more than that and it was 4-3, but somewhere these last few years our package has just went off the rails.
