Sheesh.... Can we run the single wing with AV at QB?

I re-watched part of the game against Dallas yesterday. I cringed watching McDonald congratulating Roethlisberger after one of his touchdown passes.

Hopefully, Roethlisberger continues to test negative and is able to play Sunday. If not, I think that will be the Steelers' first loss of the season.

Defense could step up if Ben doesn't play. Don't want to lose a divisional game.

This isn't a big deal. Ben is injured so likely would have gotten extra rest this week anyway.

If he tests positive, that's definitely problematic. With that said, were 8-0. There's plenty of room for error.

We'll be just fine. I'm more worried about his knee than the COVID thing. Joint injuries can linger for a long time

They should be plenty competitive with out Ben against Cincy. Start MR, have Dobbs as a back up. I would definitely get some plays in that take advantage of Dobbs' athleticism. Getting ahead myself, Hopefully, everyone is good to go other than, obviously McDonald.

My only question is if VM was having symptoms last week, why didn't they just ask him to quarantine even he was testing negative? Apparently it's the same situation as Marlon Humphreys. Personally, I wouldn't have taken any chances if he was having symptoms.

    If Ben is out
Maybe D can hold cincy scoreless
And score a td on defense

The only way this helps out in January is if these players test positive now.

    Only McDonald has tested positive.

I'm currently stuck at home with my wife and kids because my father in law tested positive over the weekend and had symptoms. The wife has shown signs as well and got tested yesterday. The two youngest and I dont have any symptoms but we can't take them to school and I can't go to work until my wife gets her results. It is just a frustrating waiting game.

Exactly. The last I checked Ben was purely precautionary because he had been in contact with someone that tested positive. Presumably Vance McDonald. As it stands Ben has not tested positive

That worked in 1976 with Kruczek at QB.

As of right now, it doesn’t seem like a huge deal. But definitely something to watch careful.

I can’t take a full game of Mason Rudolph. Please don’t do this to me.

We need everybody on the field to have a chance to win the way we have been playing lately. Would be a shame to see an undefeated streak undone by a virus.

Bummer, man. I hope everything works out. My niece and her grade school son and college aged daughter all had it. Their home is big enough that her husband was able to allow them to quarantine without contact. They came through it pretty well. My niece said the worst part for her was the headaches.

But, yeah it is a fluid situation and it's something we all have to deal with. So far, I think the NFL has done a pretty good job of skipping through the minefield.

According to Aditi Kinkhadwala Ben sat next to McDonald on the plane ride home from Dallas.

And I’m with The Sodfather, if Ben can’t play I’d like to see Dobbs and his athleticism be a part of the game-plan. Hell, I would rather Dobbs start over Rudolph and them run the ball like crazy.

Ben tested negative, but sat near Vance on the plane. We really won't know what happens until later this week.

We had several people at work test positive. We quarantined people who ate lunch in closed rooms sitting right next to the ones who tested positive, and none of the people who were eating lunch with them everyday tested positive, so there's hope that Ben will be OK.
