I actually, got worried about their play caller being out. Now you can't bank on tendencies as much and that tends to hurt the Steelers.

It's the same way with these back-up QB's they faced. No familiarity with them and what they can/will do in a certain situation...

I certainly understand this thinking among Steeler fans and many have it but some of us are looking at the past 3-4 games and think that 30 minutes against the Colts could be a mirage. This game is going to be a dog fight and our boys could end up bitten the most.

I can see a close dog fight, or it getting ugly for either team real quick. Both teams have displayed this, I expect the Steelers to win, but this is the same team that lost to the 'gals just a few weeks ago in an embarrassing fashion. For the first 3 months of the season the argument was either your record is your record (11-0 at the time), or we were just very lucky. Well the last 5 games we are 1-4, so either that record means something, or we were just very unlucky. Like I said I expect to win, but if the Browns go up early and by 17 or more points this could be a long day.

The Steelers are capable of pulling a win from early disaster, such as what we saw vs. the Colts. The Browns, on the other hand, are more likely to fold if we can get a big lead.

I think much of the defenses success comes from making teams one dimensional and then ramping up the pressure. The Browns rushing attack drives everything they want to accomplish. Kill it and then Mayfield tries too much.

I think that's the key, 193 rushing yards allowed last week, Chubb had 102 and 57 on one play, Baker scrambled for 40 (?) or so. It's not so much the yardage allowed as it is the timing of it. WIth the whole D this week they should be able to control it better, but if they get ahead and Chubb starts taking control in the 2nd half, our D wears down.

This team is the epitome of inconsistent. We can go 11-0 and then 1-4. We can suck for 1/2 a game, then look like all world the other half. Players can sometime catch a pass or drop them. We can go 13-3 and then 1 and done. Beat the Rats 2x but lose to double digit dogs Bungles with BU QB. We all have seen this for so long with regular season meltdowns and unpredictable play in the playoffs. But this is the 2020 season and we're 12-4 with no real momentum to speak of (except 20 mins over past 330+). I don't give a rats arse about their coaches, players, fans, polluted rivers or lakes. The question is can our team win this playoff game? Can our players play and coaches coach. Can we stop their primary offensive weapon (the run) that hurt us last game with a plan? I give us a 50-50 chance at this point because it doesn't matter what issues other teams have, we play down wherever their at. I'd say this is a monumental game for MT to silence some of his critics if he can get some PO wins. I am not looking to go to the SB, be nice though, just win at least one PO game and not look like crap if we lose another. Then, for me, this will be considered a successful season. ONward.

Listening to a Browns media podcast, they are lamenting not having their offensive playcaller on Sunday.

Can you imagine the reaction of Fichtner couldn't call plays?
