Coverage of Steelers training camp

I'm super pumped that it won't be Chickallo.

 

Don’t see him getting targets unless both Vance and Ebron are out and even then I think they’d put Samuels or Claypool on the field ahead of him.

He is a work in progress, if he can block effectively when they need him to and catch the odd short throw I think the team will be happy

 

I guess Ben has confessed to some "pre-game jitters" at the onset of training camp. He said he wants to get hit to clear the last hurdle from last year's injury. He even went so far as to ask TJ90 and some others if they'd give him some bumps and light hits..... Man, I would have loved to seen TJ's face when he was asked that.

I'm glad to hear that about Big Dan, but that's been his story line for the last 4 or 5 training camps. He seems to always be progressing, but never gets anywhere.

 

It seems like every time I turn to NFLNetwork they're showing Tampa Bay, or New England .

exactly, training camp is his jumbo water slide... he makes a big effort to walk up the stairs then once the season starts he starts the big slide down

 

most underrated move of camp so far imo is the transition of Marcus Allen from S to ILB.... if it works out then our depth issues at the position are pretty much solved

 

So we put someone in a position who's never played in the NFL at that position and our depth at that position is solved? I'll have to think on that one for a while.

 

Someone who wasn't all that great at the position he did play in college, btw.
