Couple TV shows some may enjoy

    Derry is visited in more stories than just "It." Even if only a mention here, or a brief visit there. The main character of 11/22/63 even stays there in 1958 while waiting for 1963. He even runs into a pre-teen Richie and Beverly. He once peers into the mouth of an old storm drain and feels like something dark, angry and hateful is looking back out at him.

    I've never read the Dark Tower series. But I know King ties quite a few of his novels into it even if only tangentially. He does the same with Derry. Dreamcatcher, Misery, Insomnia, The Tommyknockers, and a few other books or short stories are either set in, visited, or mention Derry.

    I just assumed the show would be an amalgam of several Derry stories. Not just a TV show about Pennywise. Otherwise, just call it "IT." But to be fair, the trailer doesn't really reveal much. That could have been pure speculation and wishful thinking on my part.
