Could Matt Canada be one and done as OC with the Steelers?

Will have to put a quarter on the turntable arm to keep it from skipping.

 

Apparently there is no way to tell who has you on ignore. I’m thinking this could be a system upgrade. Kind of a badge of honor or competition?

 

I tried it out for a few hours. Hard to follow the crap throwing though. People would quote the ignored & you just get lost.

 

I ignore two people. I typically read the posts without looking at the authors.

Even if I only step in dog crap a little, I still have crap on my shoe.

 

This was me for a very long time.... until specific incidents with others crossed the line. Had to I am afraid. Happy to see though that said fate has not befallen you!!

True.... but that is college that he was let go. Much different animal in the NFL than in College; colleges heavily influenced by the boosters and athletic directors alike. The Rooney's run the ship and whatever they say, goes.


Unless Canada is very displeased and does not want to be here, he is staying put. Besides, Kevin Colbert and the Steelers BLETSO Team is going to give him a QB that can fully utilize his play calling abilities.

 

Not shocked myself. Malik would be a near perfect fit.

 

I don’t see them getting rid of Canada no matter what happens this year. As others have said, Ben was never really a fit for Canada’s offense. He hates playing under center. Add in 2 rookies and a second-year player on the OL and things were bound to be messy this year. Next year will be the real test of what Canada can or can’t do.

 

Both were long overdue but with that much turnover and a new OC who is also limited by what his QB can do (or is willing to do), it's going to take time. Based on how long they kept Haley and the semi-pro bass fisherman Fichtner, I'd say Canada is safe for awhile.

Pretty sure we have had a top 10 offense for a number of years during these "failed" OCs.

Or maybe it was the talent that carried them? But I'm sure you'd agree it wasn't the coaches.

I think it's obvious. Canada will get at least 2 more. There is a method I think I started to notice. When a coach is on the hot seat the bring in a "assistant" of sorts. Canada brought in and 3 years ago a DB coach to push butler I don't remember the name. Well know when Colbert is stepping down because there will be a new promotion/hire the year before.

It's 2 weeks, let's not break the glass yet.
