Conner ruled OUT. Injury more serious than they thought.

I mean not that it matters. Now Ben can sit in shotgun and slang that thang 50 times with 0 guilt. Lack of incorporating Conner in the offense is what got him injured anyways. Yay! Go team.

Playoffs hahahahaha. This team won’t win another game this season. And it still won’t get that moron garbage coach fired.

As long as his ankle is good to go for Atlanta in February. This way he will have no problem getting to his seat in stadium to watch the game.

I have faith in Samuels btw. It's just this teams stupidity is infuriating.

Though the t/o machine is still scheduled to play correct? Seriously, i see a beat down from a 2-10

No running game with Edmunds, Ben will be slinging with urgency with little to no accuracy.

Not overpaying for someone with an drug history and an over inflated sense of worth isnt stupid. It’s actually quite brilliant

We will win more games this year and we will make the playoffs. We prob wont do much in the playoff's , but that is the norm with a Tomlin led team

I'm not talking about Bell, I agree. **** him. I'm talking about neglecting Conner from the offense for weeks but then using him in the passing game here and there. Bell got injured both times in the passing game and the one was a similar tackle to Conners. It's because running backs are use to getting hit straight on for the most part. They don't know how to protect themselves when getting tackled from behind especially in the open field at high speeds. If Conner was involved and had a rhythm this injury never happens imo.

I bet we don't see a huge drop off with Ridley and Jaylen Samuels.

Sucks Conner's on my fantasy team though.. Injuries are piling up there lol

That injury had absolutely nothing to do with how Conner has been used recently. It was a fluke. Players get feet caught like that all the time.

I know it's a common narrative around here, but that's not entirely accurate. Yeah, he throws too many INTs sometimes, but not as a result of a lack of a running game. When he's "off" or forces throws, that's when the INTs start piling up. Recent example: Panthers game - Ben throws a perfect game, 5 TDs, no INTs. Connor - 13 carries for just over 60 yds. Not exactly a 'pound the rock' kind of night.

Imagine how bad that would make Bell look. A rookie and a journeyman having success behind this line.

I honestly don't get caught up in all the Bell fiasco, how he feels, etc. The dude will be getting paid next year irregardless. 17 mil guaranteed in a long-term deal? Probably would have never happened even if the Steelers running game fell flat on its face. I understand there are bitter feelings. I don't have any. Bell is an afterthought now. Wish him the best. He's no longer a Steeler.

I think our guys will be just fine. My concern is mostly with the defense, the players making stupid mistakes costing the team, and while I love Ben the dude needs to minimize these random throws to the other team's players at inopportune times.

I'd laugh my ass off. Another bullet for GM's to use against him during negotiations.
