    Something I have never understood....
You have to make the playoffs in order to Win a SB, but once You make the playoffs....what does it matter how many playoff wins you get.....if You don’t make the SB.
Example: A. Rodgers has been to like 20 something playoff game, and won like 11, but has only been to one SB.
What I'm trying to say is....once You get to the Playoffs.....if You don’t get to the SB....what does winning 2 playoff games that year matter???

Winning playoff games shows you are a contender and if Brady is hurt or knocked out you could win it all!

No...making the playoffs show You are a contender, and after that only one thing matters...make the SB....anything else is a failure. Just like I guarantee this year....only 2 teams will make it, and only one will not be a failure.

Making the playoffs and getting blown out rd 1 is not a contender. I hear what you are saying about only 1 ends with the crown. Hope to see one again in my lifetime.

    I’m patient

We didn’t win a single playoff game let alone a super bowl in the first century

It's the basis of saying, when something continues to fail, you need to altar your plan.

Who did you root for in the first century Superbowl? The Roman Senators or the Carthaginian Elephants? Hannibal nearly led the Carthage team to a big upset win.

I agree that if you keep doing the same thing over and over with negative results that you may need to try a different approach. But it’s not the true definition of insanity. That’s just some silly made up nonsense that people have run with cause they think it’s witty.

Yes, as I just previously said, I never said that is the literal definition. I have never taken that quote to mean that.

I'll put it this way! With this coaching staff, current salary cap and roster of players, this team won't do better than this season!!

Wrong about what? You claimed I would be happy about steelers having a losing season. That is about the most absurd and ignorant BS that you've ever posted here, and thats saying a lot. I'm a steelers fan and I want them to win every game and am pissed when they lose games they shouldn't or play below their capabilities. You're the one that's wrong. So GTFOH with that horseshat.

I'm gonna speak heresy here, if it meant we moved on with a new coaching staff, then yes in a way I would be ok with the ends justifying the means. Why?, because to my core I don't believe Mike can lead us to a Super Bowl victory again. The players still play hard for him but I don't think he assembles a coaching staff that maximizes the talents of the teams we've had or will have and properly prepares to exploit the weaknesses of our opponents.

Mike Tomlin has coached 258 regular season game for the Steelers. They have been mathematically alive for the playoffs in 257 of those games!
