It’s impressive in a salary cap league built around sustaining parity.

Of course Tomlin has also extended his record.

This team was predicted to win 5 games after losing its HoF QB, tremendous job this year. I’m not sure if they’ll make the playoffs or even win a game, but it’s all gravy this year.

Awesome record. It’s nice to have a chance at the playoffs every year. Something to be proud of.

Not a fan of the sites owner but Josh Carney of Steelers Depot sums up my thoughts perfectly..

Could not have said it better myself.

Difference is the Steelers are trending in the right direction, those others are not.

Its a good accomplishment and means you’re going to be in the hunt more years than not. I don’t think anyone is acting like this is our goal each year.

Field Yates has another one of my perspectives.

I am with most that I also want to see at least some success in the playoffs. However, I do think this team is just about ready to take that next step. Hopefully within 2023 as an improved Pickett, a good FA and Draft Class, a new OC and good health will have the Steelers back in the thick of things.

Why am I optimistic despite up and coming new guns like Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert and even Joe Burrow?! Kenny Pickett showed me some Franchise QB traits during the second half of the season; doubly so in cluth back to back final moment TD throws. He is the real deal and I am more than happy to eat the generous amount of crow in terms of what I thought of him coming out at Pitt.

Future is very bright for this team. Again, would have loved to see Kenny and the Steelers in the playoffs but I doubt we will have to wait too long. :drinks:

Nobody is saying it’s a trophy, geez.

It’s still something to remark on.

They botched the beginning of the season when TJ couldn't help them.

Still impressive to go 9-8 from 2-6.

Steelers fans celebrating not making the playoffs and finishing ahead of the brownies to lock up 3rd place in the division is disgusting.

Nice try dumbazz. I'm not celebrating finishing 3rd in the division and out of the postseason. Unlike some goobers on here who want to annoint Tomlin coach of the century because he's never had a losing season.

First I think this team is in better shape that their record indicates. We seemingly have a starting QB now and an offensive line that is coming together. Two very good running backs. A couple of good Tight ends and good wide receivers. On defense we need better coordination for our DBs and an upgrade at corner. Another good defensive lineman and GOOD INSIDE LINEBACKERS! We'll see how the Steelers spend their money this year
