He has gotten this team into the playoffs. One more game. Anyting can hapen! I've been hard on Tomlin but I'm here to give him the credit he deserves! Should he have switch3ed QBs earlier? Ok maybe. Should he have gotten rid of Harvin? Well ok maybe. Does he do a poor job of clock management? now you're pickin nits!!!!
    Anyway
    Congratulations Coach Tomlin

I got an urge to pull up some post after we lost to Pats and Cards. What a difference a few weeks can do to improve moods.

While I am ecstatic that Pittsburgh is on the playoffs @ 10-7.
There's remains a lot of concerns for me.

Mason basically took 6-points off the boards with those 2 boneheaded plays.
Losing TJ Watt is a killer... he's a game changer all on his own.
    Warren's case of fumble-itis.
    And various other issues.
Thank goodness for Najee Harris... he's running like a man possessed.

They finished the season on a 3-game win streak which was shaky at best.
They scored 30+ in 2 which is great.
And they squeezed into the playoffs with some help.
I just don't want that to build a false sense of security in our front office and they feel they don't address some areas that need a lot of improvement.

For one, promoting the one of the current to OC is a bad mistake.
Status Quo will not get us to the next level.

Buffalo is red hot and riding a very impressive 5-game win streak, topped with a dismantling of the Dallas Cowboys on prime time and ending on the win in Miami.
I would imagine expectations are a big Buffalo win at home, exposing our weaknesses.

I do hope the team can defy the odds. To me, there is no real clear-cut dominant team in the AFC and I think Pittsburgh can hang with any if all goes right.

If Coach T can grab a championship (I know, it's not likely), then I will take back every bad thing I said! LOL

I won't he still made mistakes and needs to know he made wrong decisions but I would still keep Coach Mike if he wants to be here, I'm hearing all kinds of rumors that maybe he doesn't.

Kudos to coach T, he got a mangled team to ten wins. Kudos to Rooney for putting Khan in there and kudos to Khan himself. I think we owe him more than even Tomlin for always seeming to find valid replacements. Man has worked those phones.

Fans will blame Tomlin for the losses, but won't give him any credit for the wins, I heard Mark Madden fat ass say this .

Better to be one and done than miss all together... I think we can do it.

A win is certainly less than a coin flip's chance, but I believe we have a much better shot in Buffalo than we did a few seasons ago in KC.

I believe the Steelers will be at least competitive in this game...The Steelers had no chance in 2021 vs KC and in 2020, they had a very bad momentun because of in their last 5 games, which is never good before playoff time... At least in their last 3 games, they have a real identity on offense with their running game and they can make big passing plays on occasion.

I had problems with some of our 1 and done in the past but if we lose this one it won't hurt me as bad. I could argue this is one of the weaker Steeler teams headed to the Playoffs. I expected to win some of those in the past, not this one. Way I'm looking at it we were blessed a very cool last 3 weeks and this is just a cherry on top win or lose. Although I do believe it will be a close game and I'll be brokenhearted as much as I say I'll be cool with a loss.

He does tend to speak from that end of his anatomy. There is only one proper approach with Madden. Ignore him.

Cooperation of both. Khan and Weidl aren’t just going to completely ignore what Tomlin wants, for instance I believe Rowe was done by a Tomlin request, he scouted him heavily and loves him.

I think Khan and Weidl are a different dynamic though then when Colbert was here. Colbert and Tomlin were so in sync I believe they were probably in agreement on most moves where Khan and Weidl are more willing to build the team as they feel is best. Could also be why Tomlin is supposedly ready to move on if he is going to have less say in how the roster is filled out.

If that has any validity, then thank you for your service. Last year's draft is shaping up to be a great one and he should be thankful, not resentful. I don't believe that is the case though. Tomlin has not ever struck me as a guy that needs all the flowers.
