Wow. that's a harsh stat right there...It seems his approach to the Preseason has a direct impact on the way our Team starts the season.

I agree. Its more likely they will win the first and drop the next two. I am in the Burgh for the 4th so they win against Tampa :)

If they do lose it's highly probable I too jump on the FMTI band wagon. Not even really kidding about that lol

I've seen 7 also. I'm not going overboard on betting yet but I put a couple hundred on the Steelers. I think they can come out flat and beat Cleveland. The Browns are just not that good. If they can't beat the Browns by 7 then it might be a long season.

Here's A paragraph from an analysts article that rings true:

The Steelers' opening four games have the Steelers facing three teams that finished 2013 at 8-8 or worse: the Cleveland Browns (4-12), Baltimore Ravens (8-8), Carolina Panthers (12-4) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12). If the Steelers stumble out of the gate like they did in 2013, there's a good chance their 2014 season will be nearly identical to last season.

I think it's fair to say that if we lose 3 of our first 4 games it's not a good sign.

But I don't see that as a repeat of last season - while we can point to certain constants (the Head Coach, the lack of visible fire or urgency, the weak showing in preseason etc.), we shouldn't look past the numerous other factors that were around this time last year (the injuries, the rotating line, the new players coming into role etc.) that will hopefully not be such a factor this time around.

I'm predicting a win for the Steelers.

Exactly when did the Browns get good?

From that quote I would assume he is saying we are 3-1 after 4 games.. No?

which game are you able to attend.. ?

My chief concern about this upcoming season is we will play nail biters week in and week out and I will drown my frustrations with copious amounts of beer and become an alcoholic and my wife and kids leave me lol

this is a concern. are the beer vendors in good shape to deliver beer to the seats while still cold? will the browns show up or are they just plain scared? (as they should be).:smiley1::cool:

My biggest concern is the secondary, can they cover better this season. I think the pass rush will improve from last season with more speed on the defense. I say they start 3-1 with a loss to the Ratbirds, I know they won't start 0-4 like last season.
