Agreed.. As much as i would like Ben back in play he / we have to look @ the big picture... next season!
Needs to Let the healing process take its course..We need not to be self centered just for a win and his loss.

if we lose sunday and we win the last 4 we are in , matematically , we can maybe get in also if we beat only sdiego cinci clev at home and lose to dallas , only need that cincy and miami lose another game more

I think if the Steelers win 9 games and one of their wins is over Cincy, they will be in the playoffs. In this scenario, they'll have the tiebreaker over Cincy, and Cincy will need to win ever other game they left to beat out the Steerler, Miami would have to go at least 4-1 and they have 2 games vs NE and one @SF , and one of the 4-7 teams (NYJ, Buff, Tn, SD) will have to win out, and several of these play each other. None of these things seems terribly likely.

The Steelers getting in at 9-7 is actually a pretty good possibility, especially if they beat Cincy and/or SD to get that 9-7.

We'er leaving the colts out who have two games against the Texans and One in Detroit that are all potential losses and can bump the Steelers up to a 5 or an easier 6 seed

Baltimore is a different team at home, now add the hated Steelers to
the mix. Please Steelers let Ben sit, Run the table on the other 4 games left 3 at home
Ben would come into the playoffs fresh. Atleast we would have a chance
in playoffs with a healthy #7.

    No Big Ben... No playoffs!!!

I don't see how anyone can want that after what has transpired the past 2 and a half games

Can you tell me percentage wise what type of shot the Steelers have in winning in Baltimore?
How about with a healthy #7 for the 4 remaining games, with a pretty good chance that we
if we win 2 of those games we still make the playoffs with a HEALTHY and rested #7. Which scenerio
    do you like?

This game may actually be an easier game than the Ciny game -- Cincy is getting better each week and gelling as a team. They will not be an easy win. THe attitude that they are the "bungles" and will be an easy win will cost this team. I do not see the Steelers having an easy time with Dallas either. Since we tend to alway allow teams to stick around, both those teams can pull out a win in the 4th qtr. I can see Cincy only losing 1-2 more games. They most likely beat the Ravens at home the last week as the Ravens will be resting starters.

The percentage is greater with him than without, of course! what's one week going to change after resting over 3 weeks already? We all know, too much time out for Ben is not good... If he'd cleared, he should play!
