Compensatory picks expected to become tradable

    Cool. Should make trading on draft day less of a hassle and maybe lead to more trades.

    I'm OK with that. But, how the compensatory picks are awarded needs to be standardized or made public. Right now its a mystery. For all we know Roger Goodell could be getting all hamm'd up on shots of Fireball and throwing darts at the team helmets. If they can be used as bargaining chips then I think everyone should know the formula.

    I understand what the NFL tries to do...... They try to assign value to the player lost in FA by using their old team ( starter - non starter.... probowler or not ) and their new team ( size of new contract compared to others ) and somehow determine a proper rd to allocate a comp pick......

    We may never know the precise "formula" but there is a guy... name eludes me, that predicts the NFL comp picks every year and he's very good, pretty much nails it every year.

    AS far as being able to trade them...... I kinda like it the way it is now, but that's me.
