compensation picks for 2014

    Now that we've lost Wallace, Mendenhall, and Lewis, I hope we get 2 3rd round picks and 1 4th round pick for 2014? I'm assuming Wallace and Mendenhall are worth 3rd round pick and Lewis a 4th round pick.

    it's too bad we can't get anything for cutting Harrison and Colon. They're probably worth 4th round pick for Colon and a 5th round pick for harrison (Fancea rule - 10+ yr veterans).

    The only thing that worries me about Wallace's comp pick is his QB play. I didn't see much of Tannehill last year. I hope he throws a good deep ball. If he does, that should be a 3rd. Lewis could be a 3rd too. He figures to play every defensive snap. Mendenhall... only if he stays healthy and isn't just part of a committee. And again, bad QB play. He is not in a situation to succeed.

    That 10 year rule is ridiculous.

    Based on past history, I am guessing/hoping for a 3rd for Wallace; a 4th for Lewis and a 6th for Mendy. The formula that is used is guarded like the Colonel's original recipe, but it's mostly based on the players' new salaries. Right now I am guessing that Mundy and Gradkowski cancel each other out.

    we always get screwed on comp picks. 4th for wallace, (2) 7th for rest.
