Defense is letting this team down, no way in hell should they let a team March 95 yards to end the half. Porter is a head case and Watt has done ****!

Dumb football overall for the Steelers that half. 95 yard drive mostly done by stupid penalties.

 

There are no half time fixes

 

The facemask was ticky-tack. The last penalty the receiver was falling. He sold it and Porter got hit for it.

 

I’ve been saying for a while….this defense IS NOT elite. We have looked good because we played weak competition the first half of the season.

2nd half has been the strong suit all year. They will need to be much better once again

 

That, combined with the extremely risky fake punt, would seem to indicate that Tomlin wanted to go into this game with a very aggressive mindset - that the plan was to look differently and to maybe throw the opponent off bc they planned for them to be more conservative. They probably also wanted to get the offense fired up with a vote of confidence.

Clearly, if this was the strategy, the results have been mixed, at best.

 

How demoralizing as a fan to watch Washington punch it in for a TD to take a halftime lead.

TOMLIN fake punt although the guy was open idiotic based on game flow. Our D was angry controlling the game just idiotic as most of his “hard” decisions usually are

 

Washingtons up tempo has the defense on it's heels. Need more pressure from the inside.

There have been some terrible calls this half, but that stupid fake punt looms largest.

 

A play was designed and called to throw the football to a uncovered player who unfortunately DROPPED the ball . Somehow
that makes Tomlin the dumbest person on earth .?.

Great point and I know the homers will attack me because they hate reality but he is still awesome just seems like his ability to completely take over is on the decline

 

Half of hi9s yards came off the 2 td passes.... Also team is 1-6 on 3rd downs............. Wilson didnt have a good half .Pickens saved his ass on the first td
