I understand people questioning the call, but that was wide open and should’ve been an EASY 1st down. They wouldn’t have faked it if Pierre wasn’t out there all alone. Have to make that catch.

 

DB not a WR. He needs to come towards the ball to catch it, secure first, then run.

I f**k hate the playing like Madden $hit. If it's 4th down punt, or kick field goal....unless You have to at the end of a game you are losing....same with going for 2. It's dumb, and no amount of nerd talk(analytics)will convince me otherwise

 

Danny Smith must have gotten blinded by the incredible hype around him this season, and the boost in ego that it's likely given him. Sometimes a humblingly bad decision is what it takes to bring such a person back to Earth.
