We are coming into Pittsburgh on Friday. We have been up several times but never enough in advance to enjoy things.

I dont understand 'tailgating.' We dont drink so how does it work? Do you offer to pay people for food, is it you cooking out or what?

Or we had the dog with us in a section of the city that was a road with Steeler stores on both sides of the road, looked like a farmers market in places. Stores owners were cool about bringing the dog in. Several came outside while I waited and said "Bring the dog and come on in, we love dogs here." Does this sound like the Strip District?

Wife hasnt done the incline, so we will do that. Is there anything good at the top to do?

Is Bettis grill really good or more hype? We did Primanti Brothers last time, it was in an alley way and reminded me of the Archie bunker bar. :roflmao: I stuck my head in looked around to see if it was safe, somebody said "COME ON IN AND EAT." So, I motioned for the wife to come on.

What is the duck boat tour I keep hearing about? How much is it?

What are some local good food places? There are always hole in the walls that people dont hear about.

Yeah you were at the strip! As far as tailgating goes, some of the big setups sell wristbands for $20-$30 bucks all you can eat or drink. We always bring our own stuff and make extra food and share! Most people are really cool and if you let them know you're from outta town they will hook you up. at least that's been my experience.
