Comeback player of the year... Pouncey?

Just was sitting here reading a few things on nfl.com and saw an article about different analysts predictions for the awards after the season is over.. And comeback player of the year was one, can't remember who all said what.. But I got to thinking about Pouncey. Is there any chance an o-lineman could win this such as Pouncey if he would stay healthy all season. Or does it always go to someone more appealing such as a RB, or QB, or someone who's play can be looked at in statistics?

 

lol, I'll take it. But for some reason, my mind read Porter instead of Pouncey.

 

Unfortunately we'll never know. A one game season often negates such consideration.

 

Now I wonder, can Spence be a comeback player

 

If he is a road grader and we make the playoffs, without him missing any games, yes. Would love to see that from Pouncey.

What about Heath? I realize he was back last year but he wasn't 100% by any stretch. Let's say he goes out and puts up the kind of numbers he did a couple of years back, would he be a candidate?

 

I'm pulling for Spence. Also after last year I think this year we have like 29 people eligible for Comeback Player of the Year. LOL.

 

It's true. What about DHB, as an outside bet? Or am I going too far with the optimism there?

 

Maybe if Pouncey can stay healthy and play all 16 games.

Yeah probably too far but ya know I really sorta like that guy because he has shown a lot of heart in this league. He's been piled on for years as a "bust" because Al Davis was a moron that reached for him and put unreasonable expectations on him. He could be a solid player but will probably never live up to his draft status but if Al wasn't such an idiot DHB might be viewed in a much different light. I'm really pulling for him.
